COMICA 2007: ENTER A WORLD OF YOUR OWN

A world of comics is converging at the ICA for Comica, the London International Comics Festival.
Events include talks by Sarnath Banerjee from India, Igort and Gipi from Italy and Mr Clement from Hong Kong, plus a 24-hour comic-making marathon and a scary Halloween special - with Paul Gravett at the helm.
24-hour comic-making marathon
I was lucky enough to be invited to participate in the international 24 hour comic event (as an offical UK entry), at COMICA 07 (London International Comics Festival), which was held at the at the ICA on 21 - 22 October 2007.
The mission was to write, pencil and ink a brand new story comprising or 24 pages within a straight 24 hour time period, which I just about managed!!
Points to note
- I once got a hand drawn birthday card from Dave McKean :)
- I got me a signed copy of Watchmen when I was still at school ;)
